Clinical Associate Professor Tan Hiang Khoon is a dynamic clinician leader, who is currently serves as CEO SGH. He is also recently appointed as Assistant Group Chief Executive Officer (Future Health System), effective from 1 January 2026.
Prior to this, he was the Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI) and Group Director of the International Collaboration Office, SingHealth. He was also the Chair of Surgery in SingHealth from 2015 to 2022.
Dr Tan has played a pivotal role in healthcare leadership across his various roles. He led the establishment of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Head and Neck Disease Centre and integrated the Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology to enhance patient care across institutions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was instrumental in establishing a 3,700-bed Community Care Facility, safeguarding hospital capacity across Singapore.
