Principal Occupational Therapist St Andrew’s Community Hospital

Lydia is a Principal Occupational Therapist at St Andrew’s Community Hospital with over 15 years of experience across hospital and community settings in Australia and Singapore. She currently serves as Acting Head of Department for the Day Rehabilitation Centre, leading the therapy team and overseeing home therapy services to strengthen continuity of rehabilitation from hospital to community care.

Her work spans service innovation and workforce development. Lydia champions effective, scalable rehabilitation programmes for older adults while designing and delivering blended and flexible adult-learning initiatives that integrate skill-mix competencies, enabling higher ratios of skilled staff working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

She provides strategic oversight for curriculum development and spearheads curriculum design at St Andrew’s Community Service Academy, advancing structured training and workplace learning to build workforce capability and consistent standards of care. Passionate about lifelong learning, Lydia is currently pursuing a doctorate in Occupational Therapy and promotes holistic, strengths-based, and sustainable models of community rehabilitation.
