Clinical A/Prof Chow Wan Cheng graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and was further trained in Hepatology as a Clinical and Research fellow in Service d’Hepatologic, Hopital Beaujon, Clichy, France from the year 1996 to 1997. She has a long- term interest in Viral Hepatitis and was previously appointed as Chair, for the Clinical Practice Guideline for Hepatitis B, Ministry of Health, Singapore. She is currently a Senior Consultant in Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Singapore, and a member of the liver transplantation programme, SingHealth.
Concurrently, Wan Cheng is appointed as the Group Director, Sustainability in SingHealth Headquarter and Institution Sustainability Officer, Healthcare Sustainability in Singapore General Hospital. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor to the Faculty of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Duke-NUS Medical School, National University of Singapore.
Wan Cheng was previously appointed as the Vice Dean, Academic Medicine, of Duke-NUS Medical School, National University of Singapore (NUS), and the Group Director of Office of Academic Medicine (OAM), SingHealth Headquarter, both positions were overseeing the Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM) in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (SingHealth – Duke-NUS AMC). Prior to above appointments, she was Head, Dept of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, and later, Chair of Medicine, in SGH, when she was concurrently appointed as Chair of Academic Clinical Programme of Medicine, SingHealth – Duke-NUS AMC.
