Chris Downy, GM of External Affairs, will deliver a case study on the work undertaken by The Star Entertainment Group to deliver an optimal engagement experience for a diverse group of stakeholders as the organisation invests billions of dollars in developing tourism and entertainment destinations. The Star’s plans and projects, pending all necessary approvals, include a $500 million tower in Sydney to house a Ritz-Carlton hotel and apartments; the potential rollout in full of an already approved $2 billion-plus masterplan for The Star Gold Coast; and the ongoing progress in the construction of the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf development in Brisbane, with an expected opening in 2022.
