11:00 AM Case Study: Future Proofing ANZ and Bankwest Stadium through the Integration of Modern Facilities
With the NSW Government confirming an $810 million redevelopment of ANZ stadium, this is expected to see the venue transform into a world-class, 70,000 seat rectangular venue. At the same time, Venues NSW is transforming Bankwest Stadium into a future-proofed, modern facility. This is being complete through the implementation of new facilities, which includes a million dollar underground drainage system that will ensure the arena is playable after deluges.
- Implementing modern facilities to ensure precincts and entertainment arenas are future proofed
- Ensuring there is transparency with all stakeholders to ensure guaranteed implementation as visions change
- Determining the best ways to grow arenas in order to house more customers without affecting the original design construct
