Dr Sandhya Mujumdar is the Deputy Director, Medical
Affairs (Clinical Governance) Department; Senior Specialist, Quality &
Accreditation; National University Hospital (NUH); and part-time lecturer in
Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSOM), Singapore. She is a trained paediatrician
with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the UK. She is one of the
founding members of the Healthcare Quality Society of Singapore (HQSS) since
2007.
She has helped to develop quality and safety framework
in NUH. She oversees clinical quality/audit, risk management, patient safety,
performance management, clinical pathways, case management, licensing and JCI
accreditation in NUH. She has presented
posters, given oral presentations and won many awards for professional
excellence and quality and safety improvement projects at
national/international levels; and published articles in journals.
