201 Kent Street’s original lobby had changed very little since its completion in mid-1980s. Though still very functional in structure and design, competition surrounding Sydney’s western corridor created the need to refurbish the space to create a leading, contemporary workplace option that was inviting and would improve amenities for tenants. In this session, Danielle will discuss:

  • How Investa created a better experience for occupants through integrating functional and aesthetic design elements such as new escalators for better access, destination control elevators and a new café
  • Creating a contemporary co-working space as a way to utilise every opportunity in the lobby and allow it to become an active space
  • Refurbishing during office operations: How Investa made communication as the key to ensuring the refurbishment was completed with minimal disruption to tenants as possible
