Building refurbishments, particularly heritage-listed buildings, must be executed with critical attention, particularly as they often come with stringent processes. Finding the right balance between future proofing the building and creating a commercial space that preserves the existing structure requires early planning and consultation so that the design, structural engineering and materials adhere to heritage preservation standards.
