Angela Massy - Head – Strategy, Innovation and Connection, Suncare Community Services

Suncare are challenging assumptions about residents and digital technology, specifically in taking the move to empower their residents to get the most out of their devices.

In just 12 months, over 5000 residents were provided ungated Ipads. Suncare collaborated with their residents to access health monitoring, communication and entertainment in a way that challenges the perceived notion that older Australian’s are any less capable to utilize technology to its full potential.

This session will explore:

  • How technology can be used to reduce costs, simplify processes and improve the quality of both customer and staff experiences
  • Applying AI, machine learning and automation to ensure data integrity and reduce the opportunity for human error
  • Partnering with data scientists to draw conclusions from data to inform strategic decision making
