Group General Counsel LANDIS+GYR
Holger Klafs is the Group General Counsel of Landis+Gyr AG in Zug, Switzerland, a listed company and global energy management solutions provider. Holger started his career with PwC in Germany before moving to Accenture in the UK to structure multijurisdictional outsourcing projects. He worked as an attorney in the Corporate/M&A team of the US law firm Mayer Brown and as General Counsel in the Automotive Industry. For 13 years, he worked with Deutsche Börse in the financial services industry as Head of Corporate Legal and in Strategic Execution. While being a M&A lawyer at the core, reinventing the inhouse legal services to provide comprehensive, value-adding services while balancing new challenges and risks with cost and efficiency targets has become a constant focus of his daily work.
