Dr. Konrad Wartenberg studied law at the universities of Bayreuth and Tübingen and passed his Second State Examination in 1998. He was awarded his doctorate degree in 1997 by the university Tübingen. From 1998 until 2004 he was working with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Frankfurt. He then took over the position of Head of the Supervisory Board’s Office at Metro AG in Düsseldorf. In 2007, he became General Counsel of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and later also of Porsche Automobil Holding SE. Since April 2012 Mr. Wartenberg is the General Counsel of Axel Springer SE in Berlin.
