Marina Souza is the Global Head of Legal at Fyffes International S.A. since August 2021. She has been working in the Agribusiness for around 12 years, acting not only as Legal Director but also Compliance and Sustainability Officer in this industry, after 12 years working in international law firms. Throughout her career path, she started a Sustainability Department in 2014 drafting, implementing and improving policies and audit guideline as well as coordinating the issuing of sustainability report, to addressing not only environmental but also social responsibility and human rights aspects of the operations. In her capacity of legal counsel, she also advised on the negotiation of material facilities with Sustainability KPI’s as well as other important initiatives in this area.
