Brian Walters is General Counsel and Executive Vice President at Matthews International, where he has led the global legal function for more than two decades, supporting the company's international expansion, strategic transformation and innovation. During his tenure, Brian has helped coordinate 85+ acquisitions, mergers and divestitures, supporting operations across more than 35 countries. He has also advised on complex litigation, shareholder activism and corporate strategy as Matthews evolved from a traditional manufacturing business into a global enterprise developing technologies across industrial markets, including hydrogen fuel cells, battery technology and AI-driven solutions. With experience spanning M&A, international expansion, corporate governance and business transformation, Brian brings a commercially focused perspective on navigating complex legal challenges while protecting shareholder value and enabling long-term growth.
