Pre-Conference Workshops: Monday, 25 November 2019

2:30 PM Enabling Extensive Stakeholder Engagement Through Ongoing Delivery Of A Digital Workplace

It’s now clear that implementing the latest user-centric solutions doesn’t start or end with delivery; employee engagement is something that must be effectively managed in order to promote responsive adoption of current and future digital assets. As part of this, one strategy to boost user engagement and ensure adoption is to start with end user-led design and engagement.

This workshop will highlight the power of engaged communities of practice to solve adoption pain points, and leave the one-size-fits-all approach behind.

Who should attend?
If you are responsible for driving workplace technology strategy or promoting new levels of employee adoption, this workshop is designed to help work through the concepts and principles vital to enshrining user experience and high adoption rates at the heart of a successful and continuous digital workplace strategy.

Key Benefits and Takeaways:
  • Design & User Experience: allow employees access to a digital workplace that fits their daytoday needs and interest
  • Utilising technology and systems already in place to layer adoption, and coordinate with IT to get the value out of investments
  • Securing executive buy-in to divert focus from the external customer, to the internal customer, and how this benefits the entire value chain
  • Promoting technology training to fit working styles, more self- service, and ensuring learning and adoption strategies come hand in hand with end user computing
