Dr. Desikan Sundararajan

VP and Country Manager, Singapore and India Equinor

Dr. Desikan Sundararajan is the Vice President and Country Manager for Singapore & India with Equinor. He has been working with Equinor since 2013 in Houston/Austin and has worked in R&D, Upstream Operations, and moved to Norway in 2017 in the Wind and Low Carbon Business Development and Energy Storage, and most recently as the founding Country Managing Director of Equinor in India. Prior to the energy industry, he has worked in various roles in the automotive and the glass industries in the US. Desikan is an avid researcher and has been an advisor to various climate and sustainability issues in the energy industry. He has served on the Steering Committees for several US Department of Energy studies on emissions, climate science and carbon capture. He also serves as an editor and peer-reviewer for select international scientific publications. He holds an PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MS in Environmental Engineering and has recently been elected to the Fellow of the Energy Institute.
