As Chevron’s Singapore Country Chairman, Law Tat Win leads Chevron’s efforts to further its businesses, capabilities, and strategic interests in Singapore. Taking on the role since February 2020, he drives Chevron’s enterprise initiatives in Singapore and strategic engagements with key government and external stakeholders.

Tat Win is concurrently General Manager of the Singapore Refining Company (SRC) and Star Petroleum Refining Public Company (SPRC), Downstream, Midstream and Chemicals. He oversees Chevron’s interests in both joint venture refineries, and is responsible for delivering profitable growth and business strategy for Chevron.

2020 to 2025

Tat Win was the General Manager of Singapore Joint Venture Assets. He oversees Chevron’s interests in Singapore Refining Company (SRC), a 50-50 non-operated joint venture refinery, and is responsible for delivering profitable growth and business strategy for Chevron at SRC. Tat Win also leads efforts to advance energy transition within the International Products (IP) business and for Chevron in Singapore.

2014 to 2019

Tat Win was based in California for five years before he returned to Singapore in 2019. He was the Global Supply Manager for Chevron Oronite, where he led a global team of Supply Analysts and Planners and was responsible for global supply optimization.

He also served as the Refinery Business Manager, Oils Planning at the El Segundo Refinery, where he oversaw coordination, economics, and planning to drive optimization within the refinery and across the value chain.

2011 to 2014

Tat Win joined Chevron in 2011 as the Manager for Strategic Asset Development in Chevron’s Joint Ventures and Affiliates division before assuming the role of Asia Pacific Regional Supply Manager for Chevron Oronite.

Prior to 2011

Before he joined Chevron, Tat Win’s experience in the energy industry included roles at ExxonMobil and Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).

Tat Win holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Tat Win is a SRC Board of Director and Chairs the Health Safety and Environment Committee. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Chemicals Standards Committee.
