Massimiliano Marin

Massimiliano Marin is a senior energy executive and Director of QatarEnergy Singapore Pte Ltd, with more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Born in Italy, he holds both British and Italian nationality and has built a career spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).

Throughout his career, Massimiliano has held executive leadership positions with QatarEnergy, Saudi Aramco,Svenska Petroleum, and ENI, overseeing multi-billion-dollar capital investments, international partnerships, governance frameworks, enterprise risk management, and large-scale infrastructure programs. His experience includes leading major offshore development portfolios in the Middle East, supporting board and executive decision-making, and driving complex projects that are critical to national energy strategies.

He currently serves as Director of QatarEnergy Singapore and Senior Project Manager for a flagship redevelopment program central to Qatar's long-term energy strategy. Previously, as Head of Offshore Projects at Saudi Aramco, he directed offshore capital programs exceeding US$20 billion, while at Svenska Petroleum he worked closely with boards and executive teams on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio optimization, and investment decisions.

Massimiliano holds an MBA in the Energy Industry from ENI Corporate University, an MSc in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Padua, and is a certified PMP®. He also holds Leadership diploma from Cranfield University.

Married with three children, he has lived and worked in numerous countries across three continents. In March 2026, he relocated to Singapore, where he continues to contribute to the governance, growth, and transformation of the global energy industry. Outside of work, he enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through gym training and running, and is a keen guitar player.
