Roberto has gained extensive experience in the international O&G industry over 35 years, spanning various roles – from project economics to business development to general management – in Italy, Russia, Central Asia, the UK, and SE Asia.

Roberto joined MedcoEnergi as Director & CEO in November 2015, leading a period of strategic repositioning and growth during which the Company significantly expanded its Oil & Gas and Power generation activities, including through investments in renewable energy. In 2026, he was appointed a Commissioner, contributing to the strategic oversight of the Company.

Born in Italy, Roberto obtained a Master from London Business School, a master's degree in Energy Economics from Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padova
