Acting CEO Asia Natural Gas & Energy Association (ANGEA)

Stephanie Duran was appointed Acting CEO of the Asia Natural Gas & Energy Association (ANGEA) in July 2026. ANGEA is the only regionally based industry association reflecting the voice of the full natural gas value chain in the Asia Pacific and comprises some of the biggest energy companies in the world. Through its membership, ANGEA brings deep energy industry expertise to help Asia Pacific countries adopt and execute pragmatic policies that balance national security, economic growth, and sustainable energy goals.

Stephanie brings 25 years of experience working as a foreign affairs specialist at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where she led energy, carbon management, and national security initiatives. Stephanie served in leadership roles in Washington and overseas as DOE's representative in Beijing and Singapore. Upon leaving public service, Stephanie co-founded an advisory firm based in Singapore, which aims to position Southeast Asia as a regional hub for high-integrity carbon removal.
