Jason Kosofsky serves as the Intellectual Property Coordinator at the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA), where he leads efforts to combat intellectual property violations through strategic partnerships and cross-sector collaboration. In this role, Jason works closely with brand owners and law enforcement agencies across industries to identify and address emerging threats related to counterfeiting and intellectual property crime. During his career, Jason has also developed key collaborations with organizations involved in the areas of Global Security, Cyber Security, Research & Prior to joining NCFTA, Jason spent over a decade at Ford Motor Company, where he served as a Senior Global Brand Protection Investigator. With more than 22 years of experience in the field, Jason has led investigations involving copyright, design patents, trademarks, parallel imports, and trade secrets, particularly within the automotive sector. Throughout his career, Jason has built strong collaborations across diverse domains including Global Security, Cybersecurity, R&D, Packaging Engineering, Legal Affairs, Licensing, and maintains longstanding relationships with external law enforcement agencies. Jason is also a founding member of the Automotive Anti-Counterfeiting Council (A2C2), established in 2013. He served on its board and held the position of President, helping to drive its mission to eliminate counterfeit automotive components that pose risks to consumer safety. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan.
