Proud leader of MDLZ of Global Law, IP and Operations (“GIO”) team. In this position Jonas is responsible for the legal strategy to develop, deploy, maintain and protect company’s IP and its execution globally in the most effective and efficient ways to support growth agenda of MDLZ (including M&A), as well as for defining legal strategy and providing legal support in global contracting, supply chain, procurement, licensing and marketing activities around the world, especially in cutting edge new ways of doing business – digital, social media, e-commerce. Jonas is also responsible for the Corporate and Legal operations world-wide, including outside counsel and budget management. He is as well responsible for the strategy of Corporate and Legal Affairs department’s knowledge management and technology systems, trainings, work tools and their implementation worldwide. A member of the Global Corporate and Legal Affairs Department and Mondelēz Supply Chain Leadership Teams. Jonas earned his master’s degree in law from the Vilnius University of Vilnius, Lithuania and LLM degree in U.S. Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, United States.
