Deputy Treasurer Save the Children InternationalAsha Kumari is the Deputy Treasurer at Save the Children International (SCI), a non-profit organisation with the critical mission of improving the lives of children through education, health care and protection from the effects of war and violence. Asha joined SCI in 2018 and is responsible for mitigating operational risk by implementing enhanced treasury management systems, processes and controls. Asha manages the Treasury Operations team at SCI who are responsible for FX dealing operations globally managing over $1.1bn funding, settlement functions, informal funding channels, crisis funding and payment sanctions and treasury compliance operations. In 2024, Asha was Treasury Today’s Woman of the Year EMEA Highly Commended Winner. Prior to SCI, she spent a decade at Goldman Sachs, departing as a Vice President in Treasury and Liquidity Operations including overseeing process risk and control for Moscow and Zurich Treasury operations
