The Singapore Nurses Association (SNA), established in 1957, champions the advancement and recognition of nursing in Singapore. With a vision of a united and autonomous profession leading quality care and shaping policy, SNA supports nurses in improving national health outcomes. Originally founded as the Singapore Trained Nurses’ Association by British nurses Miss Griffin and Miss George, it was renamed SNA in 1990 to reflect the evolving professionalism of nursing. Now with nearly 5,000 members, SNA is a proud member of the International Council of Nurses and has received national accolades for its civic contributions and leadership in healthcare.
