Carrie is the Director of Campus Planning and Sustainability Office at Woodlands Hospital and a core member who saw the 1,800-bed integrated campus through its full development journey. An engineer by training, she blends engineering rigour with architectural and urban design thinking and believes strongly in placemaking.

Carrie helped shape WH’s ambition to redefine the hospital being a siloed care provider into a vital hub within the health ecosystem. Grounded in ethnographic insights and salutogenic design principles, she champions the campus as a community asset that inspires healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour change. Post-opening, she has established signature "Vibrant Campus" programmes to activate the campus for health creation and social connection, pushing beyond the traditional role of a hospital. Leveraging local strengths to meet local needs, she aspires for WH to be not only a place of care for patients, but also a support node for staff, caregivers and the wider community.
