Dr Jeremiah Chng is a Senior Consultant Occupational Medicine Specialist who serves as Head of Preventive Health & Occupational Medicine at Woodlands Hospital and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, NUS. Within Woodlands Hospital, he also holds several operational leadership roles, overseeing the support for transitional care of patients with post-discharge care challenges and integrating them back into the community. He is also in charge of the Specialist Outpatient Clinic operations, ensuring that the SOC clinics provide efficient and effective outpatient care. Finally, he believes in a data-driven and evidence-based approach towards improving the healthcare system and hence his latest appointment in leading the Strategic Operations & Research Analytics department allows him to not only fulfil his clinical interest in managing public health and work-related issues but also provides him the opportunity to improve workplace efficiency and cost-effectiveness of care at the system level.
