Frederik Nevejan

Head of Corporate Support and Legal Operations ING Belgium

Frederik Nevejan is a seasoned legal and risk management professional and currently Head of Corporate Support and Legal Operations at ING Belgium. His 18-year career at ING evolved organically, from legal counsel for IT procurement to his current role, covering a broad portfolio of procurement legal support, insurable risks management, corporate administration, and legal operations. The linking pin in these activities is the drive for operational excellence and innovation. Frederik is particularly engaged in transforming the legal function towards a more process-oriented way of working, bridging the gap between traditional legal rigor and agile, tech-enabled approaches. Frederik played a pivotal role in ING’s initiative to make its regulations compliant with the readability requirements of the European Accessibility Act using AI, a joint effort of ING and AskQ, an alternative legal services provider, earning the ‘2025 AI Innovation Award’ of Law.com International. Outside of work, Frederik enjoys music, reading, traveling, and sports (especially cycling). He lives in Ghent, Belgium with his wife and two children.
