Norman is Google APAC's Head of Trust & Safety External Consultation, Testing & Research. As a global affairs leader under Google's trust and safety team, Norman leads a long term engagement strategy on online and content safety with policymakers, online safety experts, industry leaders and civil society experts. These encompass areas including advocacy around bold and responsible AI innovation, youth & kids online safety, content moderation, misinformation, elections integrity and online fraud and scams.

Norman's career spanned leadership roles in industries across technology, venture capital, startup and government. He currently serves as a board member in the Global Anti-Scam Alliance's Singapore and Philippines chapter; an advisor to the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) Society, and as a startup mentor under the Google for Startup Accelerator for Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. He formerly served as a steering committee member for Singapore's Mentoring Alliance for Action.
