As the first, fully automated container terminal in Australia, VICT is designed to deliver the capacity and longevity to support the continued trade growth of the port.
Using the most advanced technology at their disposal, the terminal automates processes to deliver extra capacity for Port of Melbourne to support continued growth with over 1 million TEU annual throughput.
Guests will receive a guided tour of the terminal, observing all the operations of the automated cranes and equipment by receiving a first-hand look inside the terminal.
Your guide, Frances Simpson, will narrate the terminal’s operations during this tour, where you will be able to ask and get your questions answered.
