Anderson Peccin da Silva

Anderson is a geotechnical engineer with eight years of experience in the offshore renewables sector. He is currently involved in multiple offshore wind projects, focusing on innovative (silent) monopile installation and decommissioning techniques for bottom-fixed turbines, anchoring systems for floating wind (plate/drag anchors and anchor piles), and cable protection solutions against external hazards. He holds a PhD from the University of Bristol (UK), specializing in the modelling of anchoring systems for floating offshore renewables.

Focus Day | Monday, 24th August 2026

12:10 SIMOX Project – Comparison of (4) different installation methods for monopiles (impact hammered, vibro hammered, GDP, and Vibrojet)

• From small-scale lab tests to large-scale field tests: scaling effects
• Modelling the lateral behaviour of vibro-driven piles: from model development to certification
• Reducing conservatism in monopile design
