Filip Wegener
Senior Structural Engineer JBO GmbH
Filip Wegener is a Senior Structural Engineer with over 10 years of experience in offshore wind. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Prior to joining JBO, he developed strong expertise in joining technology at Fraunhofer IGP through multiple R&D projects. Since 2019, he has been working at JBO in the Primary Steel team, where he provides expert knowledge on interface connections between foundation structures and towers, as well as on automating complex, numerically driven workflows for component design and assessment.
