Jon Mendiola
Technical Director Erreka Smart FasteningDr. Jon Mendiola is leading ERREKA Smart Fastening's Design, Manufacturing and Engineering activities of Critical joints in the wind sector with an especial focus on Offshore Wind Foundations. He is a manager with detailed insight into WTG joints design stemming from 18 years in the Wind industry. Jon's project experience includes design works and project management roles in different scopes, FEA and Detailed Designs, new manufacturing process design and execution, improve fatigue designs and characterization, optimization on tightening processes and logistics, contributing to the development of more reliable joints on the wind industry. During his career, Jon has been managing and participating on several National and European projects related to offshore wind and specially on foundation designs. In recent years, he is steering with his wide experience in the development of new solutions and services improving the ERREKA's portfolio focusing on the safety, time saving and cost reduction on foundation design and assembly.
