Founder and Chief Executive Officer Tree Composites B.V.

Maxim Segeren is co-founder and CEO of Tree Composites, a Delft-based company developing composite joints for offshore steel structures. He holds a PhD on slip joint technology and has a background in the design of offshore wind foundations, with a strong focus on structural connections. This combination led him to recognise the limitations of welded joints early on, and the potential of alternative connection methods. At Tree Composites, Maxim focuses on bringing composite joint technology from research to industrial application, working closely with engineers, yards and classification bodies to enable scalable deployment in offshore projects.
