Pooyan Ghasemi

Lead Expert RWE

Pooyan Ghasemi holds a PhD in Geomechanics with a focus on advanced numerical modelling. He has contributed to the development of advanced modelling approaches, design optimisation, and improvements in installation procedures and prediction models for offshore foundations. Pooyan currently acts as a Lead Expert in Geotechnical Engineering at RWE, where he supports technical excellence across the project portfolio. His work focuses on improving geotechnical design methodologies, installation risk management, and the application of data-driven approaches in offshore wind projects.
