CTO ELAWIND
Ruslan Sokolov is the founder and CTO of Elawind, a startup developing robotic-assembled lattice towers for next-generation wind turbines. With over 13 years of experience in R&D, robotics, and green energy, he previously led the development of a gravity-based energy storage system with industry-leading technical performance. At Elawind, Ruslan focuses on enabling record hub heights with minimal steel and concrete usage, cutting costs and emissions. His team collaborates closely with OEMs and certification bodies to bring new tower designs into the market. Based in Germany, Ruslan brings a strong engineering and entrepreneurial background to advancing wind power infrastructure.
