Sally Poxon

Sally works at ORE Catapult and is based at the facilities in Blyth. Her work focusses on the introduction of new testing techniques into the blade testing facilities, so that they can address the future requirements of the industry. Recently she has been working on life extension projects. She bridges the gap between industry need, research and test execution. She has a background in Mechanical Engineering and has worked in the wind industry for over 17 years. She is a Peer Assessor for blade testing in the IECRE System as well as a member of MT23 (maintenance team for IEC61400-23 blade testing standard).
