Stavros Panagoulias

Stavros Panagoulias is a geotechnical engineer at Siemens Energy in the Netherlands, working on offshore wind projects worldwide with a focus on monopile foundation design and the development of in-house numerical tools. In parallel, he is a PhD researcher at TU Delft, studying seismic monopile–soil interaction within the DONISIS joint-industry project, led by TU Delft and co-managed by Carbon Trust’s OWA programme, with the aim of translating advanced numerical methods into industry-applicable design approaches. He holds degrees from NTUA (Athens) and TU Delft, and previously worked in the R&D department of Plaxis (Bentley Systems).
