Dr. Sulaiman Shojai
Structural Engineer DLR, Institute of Maritime Energy Systems
Dr.-Ing. Sulaiman Shojai is a structural engineer with expertise in steel structures. He began his professional career at an engineering office, where he was involved in the structural design of reinforced concrete and steel structures. He completed his Ph.D. focusing on the analysis of corroded steel structures using local fatigue approaches. Currently, he is group leader at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Kiel, working on the structural integrity of steel components in maritime environment.
