Thomas Krusenstjerna Albæk is Discipline Lead at COWI A/S, with extensive expertise in offshore wind project design across all lifecycle phases. He specializes in steel design for monopile and transition pieces, ensuring compliance with standards like BSH, DNV, and IEC. Thomas leads multidisciplinary teams, managing complex interfaces with clients, suppliers, and fabricators to deliver innovative foundation solutions. He is also involved in developing in-house design software and certification processes for offshore wind farms. With strong knowledge in structural dynamics, fabrication, and lifetime extension, Thomas actively supports the advancement of sustainable offshore wind energy.

• Integration of long term monitoring, inspection and hindcast datasets to establish an asis data foundation for lifetime extension assessment
