Dr. Thomas Von Borstel

Principal Engineer Offshore Wind Foundations Vattenfall Windkraft GmbH

Dr. Thomas v. Borstel is Principal Engineer for Offshore Wind Foundations at Vattenfall. He started his Offshore Wind career at Ramboll Offshore Wind in 2012 where he acted as Chief Consultant and team lead. Thomas has been involved in many R&D, tender, development and construction projects, e.g. Sandbank and East Anglia One. Since 2018 Thomas is working for Vattenfall Offshore Wind, where he is acting as Principal Engineer focusing on R&D projects, internal development projects and technical support for asset projects, e.g. Vesterhavn and Nordlicht.
