Ulrike Kersten studied lightweight structures and aeroelasticity at the institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Technical University Berlin. She is a senior rotor blade design engineer with 10+years of professional experience working for international acting companies. Starting at EUROS GmbH, she is now working for TPI Composites Germany GmbH with specialization in aeroelasticity of wind turbines. She worked on several rotor blade structures of multi-MW class from concept to prototype and serial production via full scale blade testing and certifying.
