Tree Composites
Tree Composites is developing a new approach to connecting steel structures by replacing welded joints with composite connections. At IQPC Offshore Foundations, we will share how this technology addresses one of the industry's key challenges: fatigue in welded connections under cyclic loading.
For developers and engineers, this translates into lighter jacket structures, reduced fabrication time, and lower dependence on complex welding. Based on extensive testing, including full-scale and accelerated lifetime tests, we will explain how composite joints can improve fatigue performance and simplify manufacturing, and what this could mean for cost, scalability and design flexibility in offshore wind structures.
