Stammler is a Senior Engineer with Fraunhofer IWES. His tasks comprise project
design, management and handling of technical work packages. He specializes in
blade bearings, more specifically in data analysis, test run design and FE
consulting. Matthias Stammler is responsible for the HAPT project, which
incorporates the design, manufacturing and commissioning of the BEAT6.1 large
bearing rig as well as the test of 8 blade bearings with a diameter of 5m. His
origins are in the automotive industry, and with a stayover in aeronautics he
finally got into wind energy.
