Ion
Arocena de la Rúa is the Manager of the Self-Erecting Tower Program in
NABRAWIND TECHNOLOGIES, company dedicated to the development of advanced wind
technologies for wind turbine components.
He
has 16 years of experience in the wind industry, leading in the last decade the
development of new models of XXL blades and towers, as well as disruptive
technology projects, as the modular joint of Gamesa's blades. He is author of
22 patents regarding inventions in the wind industry. He was
assistant professor for 7 years at the School of Engineering of the Public
University of Navarra.
