Sandesh Gawande

Sandesh Gawande started his career in a startup (ADCC, Nagpur, India.) in 1996 as a software developer. Then mostly focused on software design and data modeling for client-server applications.

In 1999, he moved to the USA and started consulting on Data Architecture, Data Warehouse, ETL, Business Intelligence. Designed many data warehouses, MDM solutions for investment banks, insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing companies. 

Since 2008, he is working as the CTO of Torana, Inc. and designing iCEDQ the DataOps and Data Test Automation Platform. His current focus is in Big Data, Spark, Data Catalog and implementation of iCEDQ in Cloud. He believes data architects ignore data testing for both ETL and data migration, and this causes immense costs to enterprises.  He focuses on evangelizing iCEDQ implementations for various clients and implementing DataOps and CICD pipeline for Data-Centric projects.
