Hugues Brunet has a broad experience in legal and compliance supporting different industries e.g. logistics, warehousing, shipping, offshore, IT services, food processing and commodities. Identifying and addressing compliance and legal risks and to achieve business’ goals supporting management, sales, procurement and supply chain. He is currently working as Group Compliance Director at Kubota Holdings Europe BV, in the Netherlands, where he is based within the European headquarters of Kubota, supervising the compliance activities and advising more than 60 legal entities in Europe. He is mostly in charge of building a new team and developing and leading corporate compliance programs and advising the management stakeholders on various compliance issues (i.e. trade and export, such as international sanctions; data privacy and digital compliance; competition law; anti-corruption and business & ethics matters). Hugues Brunet has French nationality, speaks fluently English and German and holds Master Degrees Business Law and Contract Law at Aix-Marseille University.
