As Data Protection Counsel, Ines is mainly responsible for supporting Berlin-Chemie AG, as part of the global MENARINI Group, the leading Italian pharmaceutical company, and its affiliates by providing advice on GDPR and other data protection matters, monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, training staff, maintaining documentation related to data processing and acting as the contact point on data privacy matters for clients and vendors in the respective pharmaceutical markets in the EU and the CIS region. After passing the German bar exam and the LL.M. in European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University, she began her career as lawyer at the UN agency World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva and at international Iaw firms in Berlin with secondments in Sydney and is currently completing her PhD in copyright law at Freie University in Berlin.
