Joerg is a Senior Legal Director, EMEA Labor & Employment & Global HR Privacy at Dell Technologies (and based in Frankfurt).   

Joerg’s career began in 1999 at Agilent Technologies Legal Department, a spin-off of Hewlett-Packard. Joerg has always dealt with employment and privacy law aspects of the business. In addition, he was also the EMEA Compliance Counsel at EMC.

Today Joerg has wide range of responsibilities which span the provision of planned and sometimes urgent strategic advice to the leadership affecting all areas of the company be it divestitures, acquisitions, outsourcing, insourcing and optimization and harmonization projects. 

The more mainstream of Joerg’s day to day is working with HR and employee benefits as well as Talent Acquisition on all areas they encompass. With 20 years inhouse experience, predominantly in the technology field Joerg also oversees, manages and delegates the employment and employee privacy law work streams of Dell’s local in-house counsels whom cover an EMEA country or a region. 

Outside of work Joerg enjoys weekend trips away with his wife and twins; continually trying to improve his hand at tennis and is involved in reading for children at the local library of his home town of Friedberg/Hesse.
