Head of Safety and Support MovieStarPlanet

Vernon Jones BA (hons) MA is the Head of Safety & Support at MovieStarPlanet A/S, a Danish company that produces social interactive games. As a Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and the Danish Association of Social Workers, he has over 30 years of experience working with statutory child protection and online child safeguarding issues. This includes working with online child safeguarding issues in NGO, Industry and statutory child safeguarding agencies in Denmark and the UK. He was a member of the EU Thematic Network POSCON (Positive Online Content and Services for Children in Europe), which brought together institutions, organizations and companies from all over Europe, to further improve knowledge about positive online content for children. He also worked on other EU DAPHNE funded projects where collaboration with partners was an integral part of the research and practical work process.
