Testimonial from Ewa Dacko, Localisation Team Lead, Ten Square Games

10/06/2023

Why did you decide to speak this year?

Okay, so I was here last year for the first time, and it was really great. It was great to meet the people, to share experiences, but I felt that I need some more tangible information. I missed sharing our actual experience with people, so I decided to come this year, and well, honestly, to share some other ups because I think it's always best to learn from mistakes, and if those mistakes are mistakes of others, that's even better. So that's why I'm here too.

What are some of your highlights from GQF 2023?

Well, there were many because it's a great event, honestly, but I think that the last presentation I saw by Estelle Bailey about the imposter syndrome was particularly good because it's something unexpected. This is not something that is related to localization or game QA or player community management, but this is something that concerns all of us. So it was great to hear someone else's perspective and some tips on how to manage that. So thanks to Estelle for that. Yeah, I think that was the most memorable part for me. [Music]
