The Association of Intellectual Property Firms, or AIPF, is an international association of independent specialty firms that devote a majority of their practice to patent, trademark and copyright law. We are dedicated to supporting the unique needs of the IP boutique to better serve clients by providing resources and a forum for international collaboration. Each year, AIPF hosts a two-day networking and educational program with a focus on boutique practice.

This year, AIPF’s Annual Meeting will take place from September 22-24 at the Embassy Suites in Alexandria, VA. The meeting’s theme is “The IP Firm’s Workspace 3.0: The Future is Now,” and will focus on practical techniques to address ongoing changes in IP law, technology, price constraints from clients, in addition to timely legal issues. The meeting will also feature an interactive, afternoon workshop, “Managing Your Modern IP Practice,” that will address unique boutique practice issues.
